Waver [[ForWantOfANail steals his catalyst regardless]], cycling all the Master-Servant pairs around and exploring the inevitable consequences.

* Downplayed in the ''Franchise/{{Naruto}}'' fanfic ''Fanfic/TruePotential''. While most of the changes are the result of the [[ForWantOfANail initial divergence]], a few others are not, such as [[spoiler:Tayuya being an Uzumaki or Roshi still living in Iwa instead of WalkingTheEarth]].

Her missions then subsequently take place in a large number of other alternate universes for various other franchises (appearing twice is the Dragon Ball Z multiverse where her Namek 2020 mission happens, as thanks to a different rate of time flow her first run as a 'wild card' entry in the Tournament of Power is 719 years after Namek).

* ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10541838/1/Alternate-Reality Alternate Reality]]'' sees [[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog Shadow the Hedgehog]] wake up in an alternate reality where, among other things, [[CheerfulChild Tails]] is painfully shy and quiet, [[MarriedToTheJob Knuckles]] doesn't give a damn about the Master Emerald, and [[TheHero Sonic]] is a vicious borderline-sociopath.

* A series of ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure'' named "Jojo New Universe"[[https://archiveofourown.org/series/2530663]] by mtnetsurfer is set in... well, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin a new universe]].
