* "Ridiculously Spacious Factory": Factory floors which are depicted as conveyor belts and machinery suspended in a massive cavernous room. Good examples would be the Droid Factory in {{Film/AttackoftheClones}}, the opening credits of {{Film/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory}}, forge worlds in {{Tabletopgame/Warhammer40000}}, and Aperture Science in {{Videogame/Portal}}.

* WorthlessOldFisticuffs: Crafted weapons are needed to deal damage in video games. ''VideoGame/BoxxyQuest'': Having no weapon means a multiplier in the damage formula is 0, resulting in no damage; ''VideoGame/LostRuins'': The Heroine literally can't launch physical attacks without weaponry; ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda'': Just the whole series.

* "Was Actually Abuse": Abuse is mistaken for something more innocuous. Salvaged from [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=17088725930.55132800 this TRS thread]] for AbuseMistake, which narrowed that trope for when something that isn't abuse is mistaken for abuse, and decided to split off the inverse (previously, AbuseMistake covered both). Examples stored at Sandbox/AbuseMistakeSplit.

If it's activated at a full ManaMeter, the stat is clearly increased in the character stats section of the menu, but since no mana is being restored since it's already full, it won't reveal itself unless you level up and MP limit increases and needs to be topped up; ''Literature/SwordArtOnline'': Hidden skills with requirements only stated after they've been acquired, Kirito's is "Dual Blades" from being the player with the fastest reaction time; ''Literature/CinnamonBun'': The magical System that controls the LitRPG mechanics tracks events but only reveals what events were needed to unlock which class evolutions, when explaining the evolutions; ''VideoGame/{{Pokemon}}'': The requirements for evolution are never stated, it's just implied, in how you never see the pre-evolved form of a Pokemon after a certain level.

* Sandbox/SuddenlyDeepVoiceGag: A character suddenly adopts a much deeper voice than usual. Often used to exaggerate how angry, mean, loud, or forceful they are at the moment, but sometimes for no reason except [[RuleOfFunny because it sounds funny]]. Salvaged from [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=17078018300.23845400 the TRS thread]] for Basso Profundo, which merged that page with MediaNotes.VoiceTypes.

* Sandbox/InactionSequence: When a work is adapted to a faster-paced medium (such as from manga to anime), the fight sequences run the danger of being over in seconds or minutes. As a result, the adaptation ends up padding out the fight with extensive non-action moments, such as dialogue, which slows down the pace of the fight and creates long periods of inaction where there should be action. Salvaged via [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=17092790680.72070900 this TRS thread]], which decided to send the trope to the Salvage Yard to rewrite the trope in a way that covers works from any country and isn't specific to anime and manga.
