The Bad Wolf: I think we have to be careful about the Useful notes, long series walls of text are not really what this site is about. I think Useful Notes On Christianity has the right tone for the site, irreverent, witty, funny, and informative (Cricket Rules is also pretty good, but they should be i was involved in writing both.

Noaqiyeum: By now this is so far from being More Like A Footnote Than Anything Else that I'd replace the index box at the bottom, were it not for the fact that I have no idea where else it might go.

Tepoztecal: oh hai - i fix many useless links.

Silent Hunter: The two Olympics entries are Up For Grabs.
rp2knight: I just created Useful Notes On Mathematics, and was wondering if someone could tell me what category it fits in and tell me how to change it so that it is now a Useful Notes: Mathematics page. Thanks in advance.

Silent Hunter: Just general Useful Notes, I'd say. I'll do the alteration for you.

Should we have a Useful Notes page for baseball? I'm a Yank and grew up around it, but I'm not sure how much people outside North America or Japan know about it. I'd be willing to get one started. (I'm kinda new here, would it be better if I registered and put this in YKTTW?)

Max Chaplin: I propose excluding authors from this index, since it is supposed to be about subjects that aren't directly connected to media and fiction.

Could we get a rap fan in here to make a useful notes page of the genre? It is, after all, one of the most misunderstood genres of music out there. I would do it myself, but I'm not much of an expert on rap.

Machiavellienne: I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is the rule of thumb on launching these pages? Are they a free launch like works pages, or is it better to take them through YKTTW?

Almafeta: I wanted to thank everyone who's worked on these Useful Notes pages. It's kind of like an Adaptation Distillation of Wikipedia... a lot briefer, a lot easier to read, and a lot more fun to read what with that from-nerd-to-nerd sort of writing style. Wikipedia's okay when you need an almanac, but as a writer, these are so much more useful... so I say to all of you, thank you very much!
