You know, I can understand the idea behind what happens when someone has to show Ultimate Evil... But I just can't help but think that sometimes, Ultimate Evil should be revealed as someone who LOOKS completely normal but knows JUST where to stick a needle into a head in order to make even the most hardened, battered, and toughened of would-be heroes wonder how they EVER thought their previous definition of suffering was even CLOSE to being accurate. Something BELOW the surface... If anyone can point out a good example of this, I'd be thrilled. - Scrounge

Fast Eddie: Scrounge, you can use italics for emphasis. It makes it a little easier to read. The seemingly-normal manifestation of evil does get some play. The example that first comes to mind is stories featuring a Ted Bundy-style serial killer, one who comes off as very personable, even charming, right up until he starts carving on you.
Phartman: Yeah, that particular trope should get its own entry if it doesn't yet have one.

G-Flex: It's been pretty explicitly stated that The Crimson King actually isn't the same being as It in the Stephen King books. Just justifying an edit here in case anybody wonders what's going on there.
Austin: I feel like pointing out that they never made a big deal over the First Evil's "true" form, and his appearance is pretty cool when compared to other demons in the show.
Caswin: Removing:
- The unaired final episode of Dungeons and Dragons mentions "The Nameless One," who is behind pretty much EVERYTHING. That's it. All you get is a name.
