Lale: Cut "Ein, the protagonist of Riviera The Promised Land and the only guy in an otherwise Five Girl Band" because, while he may be the only guy, if he's the protagonist, he's not The One Guy.

Meems: I'm going to cut the "obligatory Discworld example". I think I know the book they're talking about--and it IS an example of the trope, admittedly--but if it's too much of a spoiler to even name the book it's really too vague for the example to make sense. If anyone objects, they can put it back.
