From the entry:

(Sorry to edit your wiki, but you forgot to mention that this one originated in The Simpsons - Rocket Master)

Ununnilium: That's perfectly fine - that's what the wiki's for. ^_^ But you should have put the info in yourself!

Didn't Ellen Degeneris's original sitcom induldge in this prior to her coming out later in the series? I can't remember for sure but if so that would be a good example and illustrative of the Continuity Nod (which the article mentions).

Xander77: Where's the first quote in the article from?

and who is it being said to?

This is Truth In Television, with women being much more open about it. Quite frankly, if a guy were to say something like that to another, more often then not, the response would be, "What are you, gay?"

Vampire Buddha - Interesting note: Last year I think it was, somebody did a survey among attitudes towards sexuality in Ireland. Apparently, a higher percentage of hetero women said they'd like to try girl-on-girl sex, while a higher percentage of hetero men said they had tried dude-on-dude sex. Not really the sort of thing that should go in the entry, but somewhat surprising given the way this sort of thing is presented.

Twin Bird: Removed the recent "Truth in Television" entry...it was vanity anyway, but the pederastic comment pushes it over the line into a patent troll.

billythehick: it wasn't pereristic!(is that even a word?) it's just a bit of silliness. like discussing sex with old women. and i'm not that much older than him!

Twin Bird: You don't say.

Fly: Cutting: "So, what we've learned today is that Roy would rather be touched by a short hairy man than a hot kung-fu chick."
Belkar, Order Of The Stick
because it doesn't have any real relevance to the trope. Ho Yay, yes. This, no.

Ecliptor Calrissian: It's been asked before, but since no one's answered... one more time, who said the opening quote, and who was it directed at?

Man Without A Body: The bit about Kurt Russell? That's from the book More Information Than You Require, as clearly labeled. John Hodgman says it to the audience. Also, I just removed something from Harry Potter, because that's less an example of this trope and more just of Draco in Leather Pants (literally). It has to be internal to the story, and not just the reader being attracted to the character.

Kit329: I think this entry needs some cleanup in the anime section. The other folders don't have the same problem, but there are five or so examples in the anime one that don't give any canon examples of this trope and so ought to be on the Troper Tales page for this or the Even the Guys Want Him Troper Tales page. What do you think, should they be moved to Troper Tales, deleted, or left as is?
