From YKTTW

Lale: I've gotta rush, so I'd appreciate it if someone else could incorporate the examples from the YKTTW ;)

Phartman: You mean Madden didn't make those games? What the hell!

Daibhid C: Should we add the story of how the guy who wrote the Novelization of Coppola's Dracula (yes, I know, but there was one) really wanted to get the contract to novelise Brannagh's Frankenstein for the sake of the cover line Mary Shelley's Frankenstein - by the author of Bram Stoker's Dracula?

Janitor: :-D Priceless!

Nezumi: Does the American McGee's Alice example really count, since the only category under games is "celebrities who are loosely affiliated with the product"? He's an actual game developer whose primary claim to fame prior to the game was work on Doom 1 & 2 and Quake 1 & 2, including some of the games' better levels. He didn't do the actual coding for the game, but he was the project leader and creator of the original concept.

Paul A: I've added a new category to cover it.

Whatever: Really? Tim Burton didn't have much to do with TNBC? I know he didn't direct it, but they kept talking about him in the extras, and it does seem like exactly his style of movie, so I'd assumed he'd taken a more active role than producers normally do.

Aoede: How the hell is #4 more "honest" than #1?
