Working Title: Childrens Show Villain: From YKTTW

Semi-Known Troper:What examples are there of Eggman being non-comic?

Gracie Lizzie: Should we mention aversions of childrens and family show villains who aren't harmless here - the Daleks for example (though Doctor Who is an all ages show, rather than specifically aimed at kids). Or for that matter the Slitheen of the parent show and The Sarah Jane Adventures (who tried to kill everyone on Earth)? The Joker and other villains of the DCAU (who weren't above killing people, in some episodes IIRC)?

Lale: NO!

Gracie Lizzie: Okay. I reckon it would be better to keep this list simple too, thats why I asked. Perhaps we should put a note as such on the article page?

Sci Vo: We're trying to make it so that it's implicitly understood that aversions aren't examples unless specifically stated otherwise.

Lale: Unless they're Lampshaded. Otherwise, they're just not being used, which... is not an example.

Egak: The one time I don't follow the copy tip... a swamp-out utterly kills the entry...

Earnest: It happens to all of us, what confuses me is that the Page History button shows nothing. I had planned on just copy pasting it from there, but if that's not viable I'll just use the original I saved on my PC (Well, guess that's paid off then). Anyhoo, if no one can bring this baddy Back from the Dead, I'll just reload the original.

Bob: Was this the same thing that happened to the Made Of Win page?

Earnest: Very likely.

Fast Eddie: The page can be restored to how it was before the failure, but it looks like there have been changes since then.

Earnest: That was just me copy/pasting the first version I had on file, if the original before the failure can be restored then that would be preferable, there were examples and edits in it that are missing from the present one. So... can you fix it? Pretty please? :3

Egak: Made the addition I was trying to make when I killed it. Again, sorry about that.

Egak: The page-killing, I mean, not the Wonderella quote.

Are there really so many "goofy, harmless" villains in Disney movies? The Pixar ones, maybe. —Document N

Harpie Siren: Well, there's Yzma... and that's about it... I can't think of any other Disney movie where the villain wasn't a real threat.

  • Commercials for The Incredibles gave off the feeling that Syndrome was just another goofy, harmless Disney villain. If you've seen the movie, well, I guess I don't really need to tell you.

Caswin: There was Hector, from The Aristocats (cited as one of the movie's weaknesses in a review I read at one point), and maybe Prince John from Robin Hood (he was a threat, but he was also utterly devoid of charisma and played for laughs). Besides them, though, Disney villains tend to be better, scarier villains than they're often given credit for. Incidentally, reworking the Eight Bit Theater one, but preserving the entry because... well, I just like the way it puts it so much.

  • The whole cast of 8-Bit Theater, except for White Mage (who is not a villain) and the protagonists (who are not harmless).

((General Tommy)): There are a pair of Harmless Villains in Adventure Quest, but I can't exactly do the coding here. I wouldn't be surprised if this edit was coded wrong. Can someone help me out? Please?

  • In the online Flash RPG Adventure Quest, Zorbak and his brother Kabroz can be easily seen as a pair of harmless villains, being that they've never been able to do anything right (although Kabroz did once turn his entire home village into zombies). Zorbak even does a Heel Face Turn several times throughout the game, aiding the players, normally when it is at his benefit. Zorbak is even available as a pet to buy and use in battle.
