  • One slight factual error. Gaahl isn't a Satanist and he never was. He's actually expressed disgust towards Satanism calling it "weak people flocking like rats, afraid of standing alone". He's opposed to all organized religion (Islam especially. The Satanic imagery and themes he uses are for confrontational purposes and to express his hatred toward Christianity.
  • Some Idiot listed Cradle of Filth. Co F are NOT Black Metal they're Goth Metal.

aswilson: This page is unnecessarily long, to put it mildly, which is a shame because someone clearly put some effort into it, or plagiarized it from someone who did, and it's basically duplicating The Other Wiki's page on the topic. I don't really see why anything other than the first paragraph and the band list needs to exist. Any objections to some major pruning?

RJ: I'd say the biggest problem isn't length so much as quality. This piece is incredibly poorly written: run on sentences, mid-paragraph topic switches, grammatical/factual errors and, to top it off, the piece seems to assume a great deal of background knowledge about the subject. A newcomer would have no idea what the author meant by 'excessively lo-fi production values' (just a small example), so the article even fails to be informative. NPOV check?

Alucard: I've got a nice quote. Mind if I use it?
"Its' sound is raw, yet also epic and atmospheric, like punk-rock meets wagner, dressed as Alice Cooper."
- Sam Dunn, Metal: A Headbanger's Journey
