Brody Foxx

- Ambiguously Bi: Likely, since he seems to be in love with Vin Diesel and Kirby, and enjoys Big Chungus', Winnie the Pooh's and Teddy's twerking, but also loves Annely.
- Enraged by Idiocy: Some of the "Yo Mama So Stupid" skits end with him reacting to the stupid mother's actions by yelling at the woman for being such an idiot.
- Fantastic Arousal: In episode zero of Joe Mama he's seen flirting with, and is implied to have done 'things' with the actress who plays the slime Mama, who is an 'actual' slime girl.
- Fictional Fan, Real Celebrity: Brody is a huge fan of Vin Diesel, to the point he fantasizes about him getting a high-five from his hero.

American Mama (Caren)
The subject of all American jokes.- Eagleland: Of the boorish variety.
- One-Steve Limit: Averted as her name is the same as Karen, but spelled with a "c".
- Politically Incorrect Villain: Downplayed as she’s less of a villain and more of a patriotic Jerkass, but she doesn't like Mexicans and the French, and once had her shadow arrested because it wasn't white. She also built the wall before Donald Trump. She also reported on Frankie's dog because he's a German Shepard.
Bald Daddy (Bill)
The subject of all bald dad jokes.- Brainwashed and Crazy: Literally, at one point. When he was showering, he got brainwashed into washing people's hair.
Drunk Daddy (Bud)
The subject of all drunk jokes.- Alcoholic Dad: He's not called Drunk Daddy for nothing. Also, his BLOOD is beer!
- Meaningful Name: "Bud" is also the name of a popular brand of beer (a common abbreviation for Budweiser).
Dummy Thicc Daddy (Teddy)
The subject of all the dummy thicc jokes. His name is Teddy.- Mr. Fanservice: He's got quite the booty.
- Shaking the Rump: He does this in almost every joke he appears in.
Evil Mama (Lilith)
The subject to all the evil jokes.- Abusive Mom: To be fair, she’s evil after all.
- A Taste of the Lash: She whipped Brody with a whip.
- Cool and Unusual Punishment: She made Brody wash his mouth with Tide Pods for swearing.
- Ambiguously Human: She's stated to be Your Mom, but given her pale green skin and horns, she's more like a demon
- Evil Is Petty: She made Brody drink orange juice after he brushed his teeth.
- For the Evulz: She's a demon-like being, after all, even the Devil had to sell his soul to her.
- Glowing Eyes of Doom: Her eyes do glow red.
- Laughably Evil: All her evil deeds are played for laughs.
Fat Mamas
The subjects of all the fat jokes. The blond one is named Shirley, the brunette is named Beth and redhead is named Margaret.- Big Eater: They really love to chow down, hence why they're fat. Margaret even eats Avery a few of times.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: All three of them.
- Cursed with Awesome: Shirley's Splash attack does damage.
- Triangular Shades: Shirley's red glasses.
- Your Size May Vary: All of them. From Shirley, being just small enough to swim in a Sea World exhibit to big enough that she qualifies as a planet.
Hairy Mama (Jane) & Hairy Daddy (Henry)
The subjects of all the hairy jokes.- Ambiguously Human: Jane can only speak Wookiee, lives (and is taught) in a zoo, and was told "no pets allowed" at a restaurant. But she's still Your Mom.
- Animated Actors: Jane stars in Donkey Kong games.
- Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Yeti: Jane has a similar appearance to such creatures. Doesn't apply to Henry.
Hot Mama (Annely)
The subject of all the hot jokes.- Creator's Favorite: In-Universe example. She's Brody's favorite mama. For obvious reasons.
- Distaff Counterpart: She looks like a Gender Bender Brody Foxx.
- Even the Girls Want Her: Marge Simpson and Granny were lusting for her. In fact, even the planets, the sun and various objects lust after her.
- Ms. Fanservice: They don't call her Hot Mama for nothing!
- Playing with Fire: Her looks alone can even set heaven on fire.
- So Beautiful, It's a Curse: She is literally so hot that she causes anything around her to catch fire. She is, in fact, the leading cause of global warming.
- Visual Pun: She's hot both figuratively and literally.
Karen
The subject of all the Karen jokes.- Hate Sink: She was added to the show when the "Karen" stereotype ragging on entitled middle-aged women was
making its rounds across the 'net, so naturally she's intended to be despised. Even the animatronics from Freddy Fazbear's diner are afraid of her! - High-Pressure Emotion: When she gets mad, which is pretty often.
- Morality Pet: She seems to genuinely love her son. She prayed for him to get straight A's and confronted God when that didn't work. She also forced Freddy and his crew to perform for her son's birthday. Sure, he is is stressed and downright afraid around her, but it seems she has his best interests.
- Obnoxious Entitled Housewife: Her primary trait is acting entitled, so of course she's The Karen.
- Palette Swap: She looks identical to the American Mama, with only her shirt and hairstyle being changed.
Lazy Mama (Lauren)
The subject of all the lazy jokes.- Animal Motif: Her body is shaped like one of a sloth and she is a Lazy Bum.
- Dream Within a Dream: She's so lazy that her naps take naps of their own.
- Lazy Bum: All her jokes center around her being lazy.
- Longest Pregnancy Ever: She's so lazy, she didn't give birth to her son for 21 years!
- Sleepyhead: She usually falls asleep in most of her jokes.
- Unkempt Beauty: She manages to be quite pretty despite being a lazy slob.
Old Mama (Janice)
The subject of all the old jokes.- Ambiguously Human: One video speculates that she might be an alien. She is also seen with alien supervisors when visiting the Garden of Eden as a kid.
- Historical Longevity Joke: Since the jokes are technically supposed to be about your mom...
- Elderly Immortal: In most of the flashbacks, she still appears as the old woman she is in the present day.
- Neologism: Her first word was the first word. ("Fire", naturally.)
- No Name Given: Subverted, thanks to Yo Mama's Spooky Meme
we're finally given her name. It's Janice. - Really 700 Years Old: Though she appears to be an old woman, some of the jokes would require her to be way older than any living person can ever be.
- Start of Darkness: Apparently the one responsible for Baldi's ruler-slapping.
- Vague Age: She pre-ordered the Bible and was Moses's classmate in grade school.
Poor Mama (Claudia)
The subject of all the poor jokes. Married to Bud.- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: She's too poor to pay attention.
- Bankruptcy Barrel: Occasionally seen wearing nothing but a barrel to indicate her poverty.
- Conditioned to Accept Horror: She took the job at Freddy Frazbear's twice. It could also be that she's just that desperate for money, but regardless she seems unfazed by the animatronics.
- Perpetual Poverty: As you might get from the jokes, though how poor she is changes in each episode.
- Progressively Prettier: While it's been subtle, the difference between volume two and volume seven is noticeable.
- They Killed Kenny Again: At the beginning of one of the videos, she is crushed by a trash compactor.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Nigerian scammers wire money to her.

The subject of all the rich jokes- Battle Butler: Who pretty much does anything and everything for her.
- Conspicuous Consumption: The basis for all rich jokes.

The subject of all the short jokes.- Cursed with Awesome: Baldi from Baldi's Basics couldn't find her because she was too short to be seen.
- They Killed Kenny Again: She kills herself by jumping off the bed and, in another episode, Margaret ate her (while she hanglided using a Dorito).
- Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: According to the license photo short, her full name is "Some Hella Shortass Mama". It's later revealed in another video that her name is actually Avery.
- Suicide as Comedy: One skit has the punchline that she was so short, she committed suicide by jumping off her bed.
- Your Size May Vary: From just tall enough to sit in a car without a booster seat to short enough to fit under the door.
Skinny Mama (Cathy)
The subject of all the skinny jokes.- Noodle People: Exaggerated, to the point where she disappears when she turns around.
Slimy Mama (Michelle)
The subject of all the slimy jokes.- Ambiguously Human: She's stated to be Your Mom, but seems to actually be a Slime Girl.
- Cursed with Awesome: The broom from Baldi's Basics couldn't sweep her up.

The subject of all smart jokes.- Brainy Brunette: There's a reason she's called the Smart Mama, even to the point where Google has to look to HER for answers!

Strict Mama (Miranda Wright)
The subject of all strict jokes. She's a police officer alongside Frank, who's her husband.- Punny Name: She's a cop and her name is "Miranda Wright"
- Scary Black Woman: Oh yes! She can hold even Thanos hostage until all his homework is finished.
Strong Mama (Betty)
The subject of all the strong jokes.- Super-Strength: Exaggerated, as she's able to punch even the likes of Ultimate Shaggy into space.
Stupid Mamas
The subjects of all the stupid jokes. The blonde is named Jenny, the brunette is named Brittany, and the redhead is named Rachel.- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: All three of them.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Jenny was able to KO a gay boxer, whom she thought was the definition of 'fruit punch'.
- Literal-Minded: Sometimes taken to extreme. When Brody said 'Drinks were on the house', Rachel went to get the latter thinking they were actually on the top of the building.
- Pungeon Master: Usually ends up in situations revolving around puns, such as going on a hunting trip in an attempt to catch some sleep, getting hit by a cup and reporting a mugging, and ordering a Big Mac at the Apple store.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Brittany died in a grocery store and Jenny froze to death.
- Those Two Guys: Sometimes one of the Fat Mamas is on the same page as one of the Stupid Mamas.
- Too Dumb to Live: On one occasion Brittany actually died in the grocery store.
Tall Mama
The subject of all the tall jokes.- The Faceless: In fact, only her legs are seen.
Ugly Mamas
The subjects of all the ugly jokes. The blond is named Sadie, the brunette is named Gretchen and is married to Teddy, and the redhead is named Helga.- Ambiguously Evil: There are times when they seem to enjoy the fact that their ugliness causes damage. However, in many of these cases their ugliness scares away people or creatures that attacked them first (like Freddie Krueger) and it isn't clear if they mean to hurt innocent people.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: All three of them.
- Butt-Monkey: The Ugly Mamas often get the worst ends of the sticks, from getting arrested after staring out the window, to making blind kids cry.
- Cursed with Awesome: On the other hand, their looks help scare off the likes of various scary ghouls, including Creepypasta characters and slasher villains (even Freddy Krueger and Chuckie).
- Dude, Not Funny!: At the end of jokes involving her, Helga will usually turn to look at the camera with an unamused expression on her face.
- Fan Disservice: They are sometimes shown in states of undress, which obviously isn't very sexy due to how butt-ugly they are.
- Gonk: But of course.
- Retcon: One joke referred to the brunette one as Linda, but a recent video revealed her name to be Gretchen.
- Scary Teeth: Usually sports these and/or skin tags.
- Taken for Granite: Are ugly enough to turn people to stone. You can even ask Medusa herself! Oh wait...
- Team Rocket Wins: Sadie got the jumpscare from the Scary Maze Game to quit, and Helga walked out of a haunted house with a job application. Apparently mere ugliness alone can make you instantly win a game of Super Smash Bros, and you don't have to worry about blue shells in Mario Kart.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Gretchen was crushed when a transformer transformed with her inside, and Helga died from looking at a mirror on a toilet.
