WebVideo Entertaining with Missed Potential
Radical Soda has a lot of talent as a random skit-based videogame reviewer to match the likes of youtubers like Jontron in their prime, and this is best exemplified in their various one-shot videos and traditional "Honeybun" style playthroughs. However that talent is often left untapped due to the types of videos they prefer to record as of late, which consist of lengthy (often multi-part) reviews that accentuate the negative more than normal, and as a result he becomes rather difficult to watch. However his strengths give him a lot of potential, and when it comes to goofy, nonsequitur type video game videos I would say he is one of the strongest content creators I know.
WebVideo No Longer Fun to Watch
Radical Soda is yet another example of a once small-name Youtuber who became exceedingly more cynical as their audience grew. What was originally a silly little retrospective show about games they enjoyed has become what I can only describe as a Cinema Sins Expy full of minute, nitpicky critiques that are no where near as poignant as they think they are, and often taint the otherwise genuinely funny jokes they typically make.
Did they used to have fun and entertaining videos? Yes, but nowadays they are better known for their thinly disguised vitriol towards franchises that are generally loved among the respective communities.
