Should Unintentionally Sypathetic apply to Roger as Hitler in the play/2005 movie?

In "Heil Myself," he sings sadly,

I was a paper hanger, no one more obscurer Got a phone call from the Reichstag, told me I was Furher Germany was blue, oh, what oh what to do?

he then smiles and goes:

Hitched up my pants and conquered France now Deutchland' smiling through!

Roger/Hitler gets serious again, adding "But it wasn't always so easy."

And his monologue tells, "it was 1932. Hinderburg was working the big stage, and..I was playing the lounge." Then he shows joy at becoming Chancellor.

And then we have that Wacky Nazi performance cranked up to 11 with Roger going camp and outrageous.
