So where would Phantom Manor (The Euro Disney version of Haunted Mansion) go? Under Haunted Mansion or under Big Thunder Mountain since that version ties into it?
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. The "New Worlds" folder is getting quite large, making it somewhat time consuming to find a particular movie/show/any piece of media. It might be a good idea to split each of the categories under that folder into their own folders for easier access (something like "New Worlds (Disney Animated Canon)", "New Worlds (Pixar)", etc.).
Also, I think the candidates should be alphabetized based on the Film/Show/Media title rather than the World title since most people are likely to look for the name of the IP rather than a potential name for the world (e.g. "Cars - Radiator Springs" instead of "Radiator Springs - Cars").
Hide / Show RepliesSo who wants to explain the Perlmuter fiasco or get a link to something explaining it?
Do we want to list The Mysterious Benedict Society under 20th Century Properties (It was produced by 20th Television) or Live Action Disney Shows (Look at the title, it has the Disney logo above it)?
We may be revisiting this question for Narnia, Percy Jackson, and Just Beyond if we wanna add that.
Heads up, we might organize all the potential worlds into their old folder and maybe alphabetize them too. I reached out to the ask the tropers page for advice so we will see.
Hide / Show RepliesIt might also be a good idea to just show the IP's title next to the world's name rather than just hide them behind a link (something like "Radiator Springs (Cars)" or "Radiator Springs from Cars"; of course, this excludes cases where the World name is the exact same as the IP, like Treasure Planet or Zootopia), especially since there are some cases where it's very difficult to figure out which property the world is from without clicking/hovering over the link.
I might also suggest putting each World under different categories (NOT separate folders, just mini categories within the existing folders), something like this:
- Disney Animated Canon
- Pixar Films
- Miscellaneous Animated Films (films not in the DAC or from Pixar)
- Live-Action Films (also includes the animated hybrids)
- Television Shows
- Disney Parks
- Marvel (Earth-616/Earth-199999)
- Star Wars (A Galaxy Far, Far Away)
- 20th Century Studios properties (all films and shows from 20th Century go here)
- Miscellaneous (anything that doesn't fit the above goes here)
Okay, so GCS from Wreck It Ralph is a potential world… what about the Internet? Do we want to disqualify that? Because Oh My Disney could potentially be too mind-screwy.

So, since both Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar are soon gonna come out with their first completely original television series (e.g. Iwájú for the former and Win or Lose for the latter), should they go under the "Disney television shows" folder or under their production companies' respective folders?
I'm personally leaning towards the latter as all of Disney's animated shows prior to the ones I mentioned were either produced by Disney Television Animation or another studio.
