If someone is afraid of something, that doesn't mean they'll react strongly merely in the presence of that thing. If Kim was the target of the prank and didn't show fear, that would be an explicit contradiction. But the spiders didn't get close to him, so he wouldn't necessarily show fear. Series Continuity Error is reserved for an undeniable contradiction, not if something can be explained by different interpretation.
Two things:
One, I added Series Continuity Error to this page since Kim shows no negative reaction to the spiders used to prank Marinette despite it being established back in season 1 that he was afraid of spiders. Someone else removed it on the grounds that "the spiders didn't touch him" – I want to re-add it, but I don't want to get into an edit war with that user, but I don't think that was a valid reason for removing it? Whether they touched him or not, the fact that Kim showed no negative reaction to them goes against what was established earlier.
Second, why was the YMMV page for this episode deleted? I'm not planning on setting it back up, I'm just curious.
