Unfortunately, you wouldn't know that from watching the commercials I've seen.
One thing that I find helps to peel hard-boiled eggs is a bit of baking soda in the water . (No more then 1/4 teaspoon.) It causes some reaction that makes the white of the egg to microscopically retract from the shell of the egg. Or something. All I know for sure is it works.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettIt bears saying that an egg can in fact be cracked with a fork. In fact, the only other tool I've used to crack eggs with is a spatula, and there's really not much difference in between, barring size.
I'm not sure if it's ironic or not that I read this entire page while wearing my Snuggie. (In my defense, I'm always cold!)
Hide / Show RepliesI admit - I cannot be trusted to use scissors, at least not properly. I have my own way of manipulating them that's apparently completely different from the way that anyone else does it. For the most part, though, it works.
“I just think that's really shady." "Shady?!" - Stephanie & Chad, The Amazing Race 17Didn't want to Natter on the trope page so I'll just say it here: I for one never could get the hang of jumping rope, maybe partially because where/when I grew up jumping rope was for girls only so it didn't come up much in my day-to-day life when learning about coordination. That being said, the JumpSnap is pointless. You could just hold a couple of sticks in your hands to get the same effect.

In regards to the Eggies, they're actually useful for soft and medium boiled eggs where the whites don't firm up as much as they do with hard boiled ones and placing the eggs inside of the plastic shells is quite easy; it's cleaning the damn things afterwards that gets annoying.
