This whole page is dumb and highly subjective; it should be deleted.
Hide / Show RepliesI can see problems with the way things are classified. Some of the guidelines aren't exactly clear. But I think it can be fixed. Please take this to the Trope Repair Shop.
I added Avenged Sevenfold under "nice" - the band members act like crazy hooligans for their images, but their documentaries (and Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan's recent memorial video) actually show that they're nice, easygoing guys.
I added JG Thirlwell next to his best pals Swans before realising he should go under "mild mannered". If anyone needs a citation, Lydia Lunch in the NYC Foetus documentary describes the difference between onstage and offstage personas as "extreme".
I also took out "apparently" from the Nivek Ogre description because I can attest to that as can lots of others (he's very outgoing and friendly). Skinny Puppy are generally pretty chilled, but cEvin Key is particularly mild.
Should we split this between "played Straight" and "Inverted"?
Out eating the neighbors' tax forms, should be back soon. Hide / Show RepliesI think so, definitely. I'm wondering at this point if inversions are common enough to be their own trope.
