• The David Zucker film An American Carol points out many of the fallacies, ill-logic and over the top rhetoric used by those who approve political correctness.

This example as written is itself an example of this trope, since it expresses a clear opinion.

There's an episode of Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei about prejudice. Near the end of the episode, Nozomu is about to have sex with a gay man because he thought that turning down his advances would be offensive. He did not enjoy it.

Isn't this just a straight up example of homophobia where gay men are depicted as sexual predators preying good old straight men? This is the line they used for decades.

Perhaps someone should point out that a "War on Christmas" did once occur in the Anglosphere... at the hands of ultra-conservative Protestants (most notably Puritan Oliver Cromwell), not non-Christians or atheists.
