Is there a word for a moving image of somebody standing still?
Some cartoons are cheap and will use a single drawing of a person to show they are standing still. But some will cycle between several drawings to mimic the microscopic movements people actually make when "standing still".
August 5, 1987 was not a Sunday. I'm having trouble finding the Bloom County strip that was referenced.
