I wonder if it might be helpful to have some visual examples? This troper is having a bit of trouble picturing all of these in his head.

Is there a word for a moving image of somebody standing still?

Some cartoons are cheap and will use a single drawing of a person to show they are standing still. But some will cycle between several drawings to mimic the microscopic movements people actually make when "standing still".
