A lot of arguments here, and in all other HP pages, seem to be written in an unnecessarily condescending and patronizing tone (which, ironically, makes a disservice to the arguments because the pseudo-intellectual flair makes it all the more obvious that none of those arguments can really stand on their own and their author has to, try to, give them an undeserved air of superiority so that they can appear at least remotely sound). Checking the history, most of these are by the same person and a lot of them are just repetitions in different discussions.
Is this normal behavior for headscratchers pages? Seem more proper for a troll in fan forum.
Edited by phylos Hide / Show RepliesHeadscratchers as a wiki section has problems in general. We hope to do a massive overhaul of it soon.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree with Phylos's post. Though it's present through many Headscratchers pages, it's especially virulent in the HP ones. Why here is basically because of Hype Backlash, I say.
Any chance of getting this page some subpages? Editing is getting hard 'cause it's so long.
