Maggio was actually introduced in SF Alpha 3, not SFV. Character development history files from SF Alpha 3 say that Rose was supposed to fight Aprile as a rival because Aprile was Maggio's sister, but due to the Hardware resource being limited at the time, she fought Juli, who was already in the game. The same story happened to T.Hawk and Noembelu.
