In the Amelie's entry, there's a "Xanathos Gambit" entry, saying that she planned for Sam helping her, for the Homo Demens to sabotage the way and fakes a kidnapping, all because she wants the Chiral Network online.
I don't think this counts as a Xanathos Gambit: Those are supposed to be a plan where ANY of the outcomes will lead to the planer's victory. She didn't took in account that the BE could destroy one of the structures (Something that could happen) that Sam could end explosed to the rain and degenerate so much that he couldn't keep travelling, or the homo demens just capturing Sam (Even if he's able to return from death, he could be keep imprisoned, and it would be game over)
There are some tropes about planners, but I think that Xanathos Gambit isn't one!
