I think we should change the image. There are many more awesome moments than just this one. Moments that look way more awesome (like Johnny and Chozen back to back)

Doesn't seem like these are what this page is supposed to be about, which is moments in the show that are awesome. These sentiments would be more at home in a review.

  • This show is rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes (as of 11/05/2018).
  • Without being preachy, the show takes a strong stand against both bullying and the Cobra Kai mindset by allowing the consequences of both to be depicted realistically.
  • The acting. The kids are new talent, but the acting ability of both William Zabka and Ralph Macchio is really good and qualifies as Awesome on the basis that these are two 80's heartthrobs that due to the cultural impact of the Karate Kid films got typecasted and struggled to get other parts. And now here they are, 30 years later and acting their ass off, seemingly effortlessly slipping into the skin of characters they played decades ago and really selling the inner conflicts that plague them.
    • Props as well to the writing. While other series reboots and sequels fail, Cobra Kai works because the writers know how to structure the story and each character's journey. While many of the characters in the original films were cookie cutter stereotypes, the writers manage to turn Johnny into a flawed but complex and three-dimensional person.
  • That Miyagi-Do vs Cobra Kai brawl at the end of Season 2 also deserves some props from a technical standpoint, particularly for a well-executed case of The Oner up and down a hallway through numerous pairings of fighters, with the main young actors doing most of their own stunts and fight-choreography. And the writing of the season and scene manages to perfectly capture the Grey-and-Gray Morality they’re going for.
