The Fire Emblem entry needs to be changed entirely. Whoever wrote it is not privy to the way the AI is scripted at least not since the SNES era.
1) Enemies prioritize attacking units that will die from being hit foremost, units that can't counterattack secondarily, and then target Lords. If they cannot do any of the above they choose who they can trade the best damage with. There is some artificial stupidity in how they prioritize in fe9 with how unequipping units makes them 'unarmed' and thus pushes them forward in the priority list, that would be a good thing to talk about. The rest of entry discussing AI priorities is false. Maybe it's like that for the NES games or something?
2) The boss leaving the throne would be artificial stupidity, not the way it's written now. If the boss leaves the throne, you can waltz in and seize it and win instantly without having to kill the difficult boss. Also how is using the longbow a form of artificial stupidity on the AI's part?
The AI is, however, suicidal and stupid in many other respects. For instance, if left with no other option other than to attack an opponent that takes no damage, they are completely okay with flinging themselves at said opponent, but that's more-or-less the point. The game would never continue otherwise. I honestly would like to see the FE section reworked with actual instances of incredibly stupid AI moments, which I'm sure exist.
