Hm. To get people to the right pages, I think it's fine to create those redirects.

Power Corrupts redirects to With Great Power Comes Great Insanity. Given thats its a pre-established phrase, that doesn't match how its actually used. I suggest it redirect to Drunk with Power instead

I checked about 15 of the wicks informally and 100% of them are using it in the colloquial phrase way (meaning, power makes them evil, not power makes them crazy)

It is actually linked to the real life trope, in the sense that the trope description comments that the trope has been used just to use the existing real life phrase as an Aesop.

I think it's more like both WGPCGI and Drunk On Power are different ways of exploring Power Corrupts. So, it's possible that Power Corrupts should be a supertrope to them both, and possibly a few others as well.

edit: misunderstood you. But yea, i could see it as a supertrope. Drunk with Power isnt a perfect match but i do think its at least closer to the "power=evil" meaning

With Great Power Comes Great Insanity interprets "Power Corrupts" as the corruption being an affliction that happens to someone. The phrase it's based on leads to "and absolute power corrupts absolutely", which is what Drunk with Power describes. I've made it a disambig.

Reflective Teleportation seems like it should have a redirect that talks about mirrors. But not sure what.

I suggest making Arctic Hysteria a redirect to Polar Madness. It's a pre-existing term which was used by ethnographers for pretty much the thing that Polar Madness describes. Judging from the Google hits, it's still a familiar term for many people.

And with 7K+ inbounds, it'd have to be Disambig-ed or something if we want to remove it.

OK, why exactly does Web Serial Novels (the redirect) exist? I thought plural redirects weren't allowed. Plus, it's only got 74 inbounds.

Probably for navigation from Monster.Web Serial Novels, but it's unnecessary because the singular form Web Serial Novel is linked on that page's lede.

Why is ReferencedBy.A Song Of Ice And Fire a redirect to ReferencedBy.Game Of Thrones, when the Franchise redirect is reversed? Franchise.A Song Of Ice And Fire being the target of Franchise.Game Of Thrones?

The redirects for Fanfic.Beloved (pointing to Fanfic.Beloved FF 7) and WebComic.Beloved (pointing to Webcomic.Beloved L) existing mean that these links still show on the page for the novel/film at Literature.Beloved, which they are in no way related to the fanfic or the webcomic (and this is the same with several of the subpages.) Do I need to move any wicks that point to the redirects to resolve this, or is this a known glitch that remains after page moves?

No, that's fine. Helps people who are pointed at "Beloved" find what they're looking for.

It's more that the pages (and subpages) continue to show on the novel/film article when they aren't related to the novel/film. I was concerned because after I had the pages moved to separate out three different media named Underground (now at Series.Underground WGN, Film.Underground 1995, and Literature.Underground 2016), none of them linked to each other anymore in the top links. But if it's normal, then I won't worry about it, thank you.

I think turning to a redirect makes sense. His works are already documented on the series page.

Although redirects are free, that name might be a bit too confusing, thanks to literal traffic lights.
