Yeah, the only actual mention I can find is from The Ultimate Discworld Companion

Here's a Google Books sample.

Hi all, I'm back. Is there a particular book where this motto is stated?

Band of Brothels:

"Often Licked, Never Beaten."

Might be in the Discworld Companion. I know it's not in any of the mainline novels.

Let's see what fresh fuckwittery the dolts can contrive to torment themselves with this time.

Just testing if I have privileges here. Apparently September 4th, on the Discworld, is Cheese Outbreak Day, as the Almanack celebrates a Serious Outbreak of Cheese that caused several dozen deaths in Quirm City. The day is therefore Celebrated in Remembrance.

I read Wee Little Men recently, and wasn't really impressed. It could be in part because I read it in German, so a lot of the Scottish dialect humor was lost in translation. I also thought it was too much of the protagonist thinking over things. Is this book an outlier?

You should read it in English then.
