- Nintendo Hard: The game demands a lot of dedication and is considered harder than other city building games because of a focus on logistics and micromanagement and because of how devastating the consequences of a single Critical Staffing Shortage can be.
- Self-Imposed Challenge: Cosmonaut mode. After auto-building a starter town for money, you can only build anything with a construction office, your own workers and delivering resources to the construction site with trucks, first buying them on the border, then producing them yourself.
