• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The infamous "Feminine Maneuver" scene. Everything leading up to it heavily implied that Okubo and his gang were planning to rape Aya and Saki, only to take an immediate left turn into some sort of weird school pride fetish ritual. It makes zero sense and only exists to fill up time and is never brought up again, leading to a few people to theorize that the OVA was originally going to be a hentai. Even the protagonist himself seems to have no idea what he just witnessed.
  Tairaku: What... in the hell is going on here?!
  Gang Member: C'mon professor, don't you know?
  Okubo: The traditional Otomi school dance, the Feminine Maneuver!
  Tairaku: What?!
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: Almost everyone is a jerk (or far worse) and any attempt at drama or plot development seems to go nowhere with the cast behaving like idiots, creeps, and/or bullies far too often for the viewer to ever really care if anything happens to them or not.
