- Crosses the Line Twice: Frisk makes a comment every time that they catch a fish, mostly just some Lampshade Hanging, but some of them have a certain dark humourous tone to them.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: DIE HARD is incredibly popular, due to its madcap personality and nature as the Token Good Teammate of the Die Hards. It is even slanted to become an Ascended Extra in Gimmiko!
- Low-Level Run: Has the potential for one built into the game, as secret XP Breeze Badges that prevent the wearers from gaining XP can be found in the very first room of the game.
- Low-Tier Letdown: Grindy. Although his ability to sometimes double rewards from a fight seems useful, by the time you'll have unlocked him, the main party members will likely be at max level anyway, and Gold won't be an issue anymore. In addition to this, he doesn't have any actual functionality in combat, similar to Monk Key, with the exception that he's Played Straight, so he has none of Monk Key's inherent Joke Character humour, and even then, Monk Key still has his Not Completely Useless elements through the Monk Locks. And to add insult to injury, he starts at Level 1. This may be an Intended Audience Reaction, as part of a Take That! towards grinding in RPGs.
- Spiritual Successor: Essentially an Undertale version of Five Nights at Fuckboy's.
