YMMV / Total Drama: "Jurassic Fart"

• Fanon Discontinuity: Some fans have decided to skip over the episode and regard the episode as not canon due to its staggering amount of crude humor. This is however detrimental to those fans as the episode contained several important plot points such as the revelation of Julia’s true colors and Damien’s elimination.
• Just Here for Godzilla: While this is one of the most despised episodes of the show in an otherwise well-liked season, one thing everyone agrees to enjoy is the scene where MK records Julia insulting the raptor and uploads it to her social media. Especially as it completely changed the direction of Julia's arc.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Not necessarily a scrappy but most fans couldn't care less about Julia for having less depth than the others. Once she's revealed to be completely fake and a massive Jerkass, her reception has become Love to Hate with even her detractors agreeing she's more interesting this way.
• Squick: If you don't like Toilet Humor, chances are you're not going to like this episode. It has been dubbed as one of "fart fetish" episodes and a lot of fans admit to having skipped watching the entire challenge as a result.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot:
  • Bowie keeping Julia's outburst a secret. He could have used it to blackmail her for her vote. However, this goes nowhere by the start of the very next episode, where Bowie openly mocks Julia for yelling at animals when she enters the main lodge, while she herself had already decided to completely drop her Nice Girl act after seeing the video of her outburst uploaded online.
  • Damien and Priya show signs of liking each other. While it's understandable this is never expanded upon due to Damien's elimination, it's never brought up again next season despite both making it deep into the game and being on the same team again.
