• Epileptic Trees: Leah’s abilities and referring to her family as her “squad” strongly implied she was ex-military. Coupling this with how the Reaper in “Home Sweet Home” was clearly ex-military due to his tactics, abilities and weaponry, fans began to suspect that Leah was also a Reaper. Season 11 will confirm that the Reapers are Leah’s family and are still very much alive.
• Fanon Discontinuity: Shippers have been all over the place with this episode since it reveals Daryl’s first canonical relationship, with many choosing to ignore Daryl’s relationship with Leah for the sake of their own ship.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: Criticism has been directed at the episode having a haphazardly fast pace once the Falling-in-Love Montage starts in earnest after Leah tells her backstory and the episode concluding too quickly.
