  • Fanon Discontinuity: A lot of fans would like to pretend that this book doesn't exist, for a number of reasons. For one thing, the book is only available in a certain part of the world (unlike every other Choices story that has ever existed), meaning that plenty of people wouldn't have even heard of it if it weren't for them having access to the Choices wiki, This Very Wiki, or word of mouth. Additionally, the book uses generative AI for its sprites and backgrounds, something no other book does (at worst, AI is used for the book cover, but that's about it), there's no Gay Option whatsoever, hardly any customization options for the main character and none at all for the only love interest (to the point that his name can't even be customized), only four chapters in both books, and a rather tone-deaf representation of Indian culture. Fortunately, the fact that the book is unavailable outside India makes it much easier for the fandom to ignore it.
