Fanon Discontinuity: "Town and Out" is widely regarded as one of the worst episodes of the show. As such, most fans like to pretend it never existed.
Misaimed Fandom: The episode "Town and Out" was meant as a deconstruction, as to what if the girls brought their brand of superheroics to a more realistic setting. Instead, many fans felt like this episode was designed to abuse and torment our heroines as much as possible.
Squick: Several, among them a bird defecating on Bubbles' head, the utterly rancid state of the girls' new apartment (complete with a toilet being visible without any segregating room), and a sleazy-looking guy on the sidewalk teasing and flirting with the girls.

Take That, Scrappy!: In this episode, The Mayor is shown to be playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when Professor Utonium calls him, and is so bad at the game that he manages to kill Navi. Zelda fans tend to find Navi one of the series' most annoying characters due to her obnoxious cries of "Hey!" and "Listen!" whenever she gives Link "advice" that he already knew. She serves little purpose in the story, so fans are satisfied to see her get killed.
