• Fanon Discontinuity: Many fans (although by no means all of them) disregard the comic, or at least parts of it, due to the anticlimactic death of a very popular survivor from the first movie and the implied death of a second. The prominence of Hades doesn't help, considering that he originates from a sequel that is subject to the occasional bit of Fanon Discontinuity sentiment itself.
