• Overshadowed by Controversy: This film's win of the Short Film Palme d'Or later became a minor scandal, when it was revealed that producer Eleni Kossyfidou was in a relationship with Panos H. Koutras, one of the judges on the panel. The makers of the film went so far as to leave Kossyfidou's name off the film's Wikipedia page until two years after it won the award.
