• Fanon Discontinuity: Unfortunately, this episode is one of the most hated episodes of the show due to Brooklyn Guy's actions and Jeffy getting tortured on his birthday.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Jeffy gets his birthday ruined by Brooklyn Guy. Considering how many times Jeffy has tortured Mario up to this point, it can be really satisfying.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Depending on your view, Brooklyn Guy did Mario a favor when he ruined Jeffy's birthday in this episode.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Jeffy freaks out when Mario grounds him on his birthday. Although with how many times Jeffy made Mario miserable, it could be seen as Jeffy demanding a birthday he doesn't deserve.
