• Tear Jerker:
  • The entire premise of the episode is one, as the O'Briens not only face the fear of losing their daughter, but when they do find her again she's changed so much that they can't even relate to her. Never mind their decision that the best place for Molly is to return her to the past, knowing they'll never see her again.
  • It's unclear if Molly understood the implications of what sending her younger self back through the portal to set everything right would be for her own existence, but it doesn't detract from the poignancy of watching her erased from history as a result of the paradox. The knife is twisted a bit further at the end, when Molly draws the exact same picture that her savage self did.
