- Audience-Alienating Premise: An Spin-Off Babies of Better Call Saul? Surely parents want to find a way to introduce Breaking Bad to their children!
- Broken Base: "City Flights" is the only episode you will hear some praise online. As it lacks some of the most annoying elements of the rest of the episodes (It's a No-Dialogue Episode for once), has a more heartwarming story and give us a glimpse of the relationship between Jimmy and Chuck when Jimmy was a kid, something that wasn't particularly explored in the show. As such, some fans see it as the one welcome addition to the franchise delivered by this cartoon, while other fans just finded to be "the episode that sucks the least" and disowned with the rest of the series.
- Fanon Discontinuity: Fans like to pretend this series doesn't exist, due to the artstyle, writing, overly wacky tone, and lack of fidelity to the Breaking Bad franchise.
- So Okay, It's Average: "City Flights" gets this reaction. It's easily the best episode but that's hardly a high bar.
- Special Effects Failure: Several props are obvious pieces of clipart, and some of them still have artifacting around them.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: Episode 2 has a legally-distinct riff on the "Exorcist" theme reoccur throughout.
- Uncertain Audience: It is very hard to believe this show would appeal to anyone. Fans of Better Call Saul wouldn't have any interest in something so childish and crudely looking, while kids would probably not catch on the movie references nor would have any familarity with the franchise the cartoon is associated to have any interest in it.
