- Catharsis Factor: For those affected by Hype Backlash towards Jack/Elsa pairing, the strip where a Jack Frost cosplayer hitting on Elsa get the freeze is rather satisfying.
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- Leia is this, at first appearing in small cameos/supporting roles every now and then, to fully becoming a member of the Royal Court after The Last Jedi premiered.
- Vanellope too, appearing prominently a few weeks before Ralph Breaks the Internet premiered and having many appearances afterwards in future strips. She's pretty much joined the group at this point without even needing a "Meet the Princesses" card.
- Fridge Brilliance:
- The "Poker Face" strip, in which Elsa cleans out Snow White and Belle at poker. Idina Menzel sung Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" in an episode of Glee.
- Leia joining the princesses after The Last Jedi makes some sense when you remember that she did so after becoming a Force Ghost. Do you really think telling her "no" in this state will accomplish anything?
- Anna and Elsa being particularly traumatised after watching Avengers: Infinity War makes perfect sense given that the movie contains two occurrences of a character who had finally reconnected with a long-estranged sibling witnessing said sibling die.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- The Mother's Day strip. Basically, the princesses' three still-living mothers (Eudora, Queen Arianna, and Queen Elinor) all get together to be showered with hugs by all the Princesses who have a Missing Mom (which is basically a lot of them).
- The Memoriam to Carrie Fisher.
- Merida, Moana, Elsa and Vanellope all hanging out in Las Vegas together on Galentine's Week. Who says Princesses have to be in an Official Couple by the end of their film, hmm?
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Belle being a huge Harry Potter fangirl is this with the announcement that Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the movies, was cast to play Belle in the remake.
- Remember Belle's Inelegant Blubbering over her wanting more Harry Potter? In a way, she'd get her wish.
- Remember Vanellope trying to break down their door to get in? In Ralph Breaks the Internet, she zaps through the door to get into the princesses' room. (She later has a campaign to be recognized as a princess following Election Day 2018.)
- Also, there was a strip where Elsa tried to get a “casual look”, only for all the other princesses to freak out. Now, all the princesses are getting casual outfits, once again, thanks to Vanellope.
- Unexpected Character:
- After a handful of guest appearances, Leia fully joins the princesses. While everyone and their mother (including Amy herself) joked about Leia being a Disney Princess after Disney purchased Lucasfilm, it was a given that she wouldn't actually join them, and the comic, despite being a Fan Webcomic, would reflect that. The comic in which Leia is named their Patron Saint (which is likely the impetus for her joining for real) lampshades this by jokingly announcing that a Porg would become the next princess, and showing a blackboard listing off other potential princesses from acquired properties (also poking fun at Disney's then-recent acquirement of 20th Century Fox).
- Snoopy makes a cameo in This strip, marking the first instance of a character outside of Disney (who has the rights to The Peanuts Movie, but not the franchise as a whole) appearing in full.note The striking Art-Style Clash and subtle Lampshade Hanging make it stand out even more.
Joe the Legal Weasel: Speaking of legality, is this sitcom licensed & authorized by the Walt Disney Company?Raya: Don't ask me, it was like that when I got here.- And now, we can also add Alice to that list. The OTHER Alice. She makes an appearance in strip n.o. 323, to celebrate Disney’s 97th anniversary.
