YMMV / Los Prisioneros

  • Fanon Discontinuity: Two albums of Los Prisioneros' post-reunion (2003's Los Prisioneros and 2004's Manzana) aren't considered by the fans because of the lack of quality and spirit compared with their 4 first albums. Even the bootleg albums of the band released during the 2000s (part of these songs were remastered for 1996's Ni Por La Razón Ni Por La Fuerza) are considerated more proper albums than Los Prisioneros and Manzana.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff:
    • Apart of Chile, the other country where their music became a big success was in Peru. Other South America countries also were success their music, even being known in United States as part of the South American groups of The '80s.
    • González's solo career was very famous in countries like Mexico and he's an underground referent in Europe.
  • Memetic Mutation: Famous memes are seen in Chile about how are seen the members then and now: how Narea still has a grunge against González after all of these years, González being the center of the group and Tapia being always The Quiet One. Inciclopedia, the Spanish version of Uncyclopedia jokes about all of this in the article of the group.
