YMMV / LEGO Ultra Agents

Go To

  • Contested Successor: Fans of LEGO Agents were disappointed that Ultra Agents was not a direct sequel and instead ditches the entire Spy Fiction aspect, and the Ultra Agents Mission HQ is seen as not quite living up to the Agents Mobile Command Base. Still, this new take has its fans.
  • Fanon Discontinuity: Several fans choose to ignore the connection to LEGO Monster Fighters and Galaxy Squad, considering that it has not been acknowledged anywhere other than the LEGO Club Magazine and it ridiculously overreaches the action theme connection gambit, previously attempted with Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Conquest, and Dino. It is agreed that the app was wise to ignore the connection. Luckily for them, this has been jossed by the theme's own canon. The villains were civilians transformed by evil portals created by Anti-Matter.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The leader of the Ultra Agents is a middle-aged man with a cocky expression and a crooked mustache, giving him an uncanny semblance to Johnny Thunder. The Ace Pilot of the Ultra Agents is a young, clean-shaven man with some sort of gadget covering one eye. One of these characters is named Curtis Bolt and the other is named Solomon Blaze... and they're not the ones you think they should be. More on this can be found on the WMG page.
  • The Un-Twist: Considering his abilities and pursuit of the Agents, it's not really a surprise that AntiMatter used to be one.
