• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Eamon Cunningham tripping on Ayahuasca. He sees a boy drowning in a pool, his wife reaches out to save him but gets dragged in and drowns, then Amanda comforts the boy.The meaning is muddled and deliberately left up to interpretation. Is it a literal childhood memory from his past with characters replaced with people from his present? Is the drowned woman symbolic for his wife, showing how he's powerless to save her? Is he somehow coming to terms with the fact he's become a soulless shell of a man? Is he finally gaining sympathy for Amanda trying to protect her boy? All it really results in is a brief flashback to the scene when Eamon is killed by Michael.
