- Diagnosed by the Audience: Adolph Impossible is constantly worrying, to the point of sometimes being overwhelmed. This suggests an anxiety disorder.
- Fanon Discontinuity: Fans have not taken lightly on Matt Fraction's obvious personal dislike for Doctor Doom and him trying as hard as he can to dismantle/ignore any noble quality the guy has ever displayed. Goes into Canon Discontinuity too, since the incident of Scott defeating Doom is never brought up in any other book period. Others feel that given the status-quo, i.e. Scott was resurrected and Cassie had died at Doom's hands, developments Fraction had nothing to do with, this was a logical place to take the character.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Franklin's characterization has been mixed during Fraction's run, making it seem like he's the kid of the group rather than the character he was during Hickman's run.
