• Designated Villain: While Mr. Pickall is the closest thing the movie has to a bad guy, he really is just doing his job. He doesn’t obtain Eleanor’s books until after Nat’s family had agreed to give them to him and never engages in any shady business practices. While he does call Nat a brat towards the end, he has not really done anything that bad to warrant getting shrunken down by the Wicked Fairy.
