YMMV / CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story

• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Basically the entirety of Chapter 6, "Broken Chord". At the peak of the game's tension, with Future Ekko going completely off the deep-end and Ekko needing desperately to find him to stop his bomb plot, the game plot screeches to a halt. With the Inx turning an old theater building into an air-ship to get Jinx's attention. The level has zero impact on any of the story, and comes off like a very forced way to get a Jinx cameo in.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!:
  • Camille's inclusion in the game was looked on very poorly as an In Name Only portrayal of the character, to the point where several Epileptic Trees were raised that Caitlyn was originally going to feature in the game but was replaced with Camille at the last minute.
  • Warwick is canonically a terrifying creature prowling the streets of Zaun and is The Dreaded. In this game, he's a only slightly threatening goofball that chases Ekko for no good reason, leading to complaints about Warwick being neutered from his previous appearances.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Or characters, plural. The Lost Children Of Zaun, who are very important pieces of Ekko's backstory, finally get voiced appearances in LoL. They are resigned to being basically soundboards for Ekko to talk to, turn in his collectables to, and have almost nothing to do with the important story bits of the game.
