YMMV / Atlantis: Milo's Return

Go To

  • Fanon Discontinuity: For some people— though it's less unanimous than with certain other Disney DTV sequels.
  • Sequelitis: While some consider Milo's Return to be surprisingly engaging, that's only if you know that the film is just the cobbled-together remains of a cancelled TV series. For Disney's DTV sequels standards, everyone's in character, the various replacement voice actors are surprisingly good and the mysteries are intriguing, but the overall narrative is very disjointed, the writing and jokes aren't as clever or sharp and the animation is immensely cheaper than the first film.
  • So Okay, It's Average: It gets this treatment, being seen as sort of a mixed bag — engaging adventures and the characters staying true to the first film, but an overall disjointed narrative, lacking script and poor animation.
