Despicable Me 4 is a 2024 animated action comedy film and the fourth main installment in the Despicable Me franchise from Illumination Entertainment. Following the birth of his son, Gru Jr., Gru is forced to take his family and minions into hiding when an old nemesis escapes from prison, triggering a new adventure full of hijinks and mayhem. The film will release July 3, 2024 (which also happens to be the 11th anniversary of Despicable Me 2).
