Chip: "You killed him! You killed a man just now!"
Marshal: "Yeah, I guess I did, didn't I?"
Chip: "He's the only guy that gave us a job!"

SUPERCAST! is a five-episode web series created and developed by the YouTubers known as The Creatures. The series follows the exploits of the Bowdrie Brothers, Chip and Marshal, in their attempts to hold a shoutcasting job for a significant period of time and thus, to make their father proud. The playlist can be found here.

This series provides examples of:

  • Catchphrase: Chip's is "As seen in the 2001 hit ____", with a movie (often NOT a 2001 movie) in the blank.
  • Cliffhanger: At the end of the series, Marshal has killed a man, and he and Chip have parted ways while running from the cops. Chip writes a letter vowing that he will continue on his own and will not fail his father.
  • Companion Cube: Marshal is never without his liquor/beer flask. Even when his life was in danger from a fire burning down a set, he still made sure to go back and pick the flask up from the floor before he left.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: In their first appearance pre-SUPERCAST! (from another Creatures video series), the Bowdrie brothers were pretty much the same, but there were some minor differences, such as Marshal's name being spelled with two L's and Chip one time saying "As seen in the 2008 hit" rather than 2001.
  • Flashback: In Season 1 Episode 3, while waiting to find out the fate of their job from the previous episode, the boys reminisce about a construction job they had.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: The Latino director in Season 1 Episode 5 gets very angry at everything. It doesn't help that Chip and Marshal completely ruin his broadcast and trash the set.
  • Historical Domain Character: None other than good ol' JR himself, former WWE commentator (played by Daniel Gidlow, aka Danz Newz) appears to help the Bowdrie brothers commentate in Season 1 Episode 4.
  • In-Universe Factoid Failure:
    • The boys agree to a construction job building a pagoda, when it is very clear they have no idea what a pagoda is. The end result is a small birdhouse, which they end up destroying, anyway.
    • From the same episode, when an owl comes by to check out the birdhouse, the brothers misidentify it as both a hummingbird (Chip) and an American eagle (Marshal). Chip insists that American eagles are "only found in Africa".
    • In episode 4, Marshal seems to think that pouring liquor and gasoline on a small fire will help put it out. The results are as you might expect.
  • Metaphorgotten: Expect this to follow any time Chip says "You know what they say, Marshal...". Per example:
Chip: You know what they say, Marshal. You learn something new every day, but when you learn something that you don't want to learn, then what is it that you exactly learn that day?
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Chip will stop at nothing to make his father proud. Papa Bowdrie isn't too keen on handing out compliments to his boys.
