Hunger Games Simulator is a web app based off of a serious, dark literature series. Surely everything based off of it will have the same level of seriousness, right? It chronicles the battles of hundreds of characters from hundreds of different works (ranging from horror films to black comedy protagonists to PBS Kids villains) clashing to the death for the title of champion. Of course, with such chaotic rosters there are equally chaotic events, as shown.
Hunger Games Simulator Saga contains examples of:
- Non-Indicative First Episode: The first episode is the only one to feature the default events. Everything goes to hell after that...
- Reference Overdosed: Exaggerated Trope. Not only are there characters from every genre and medium under the sun duking it out, but virtually every custom event is a straight up reference, inside joke, meta joke, or reenactment of some sort.
