Jim and Hank is a 2023 animated Action Comedy Drama series by Coleslaw, the show premiered on a streaming service called Ysogood (styled "ysogood"). The series is animated entirely in
Flipa Clip and edited in
Cap Cut, with the music being made in
Garage Band.Set in the year 2026, the show follows a 20-something year old man named Jim, who is forced into a world of violence and danger upon finding out that the president's search history was printed out and went missing, leading to him getting recruited alongside a man named Hank to find it before it gets leaked by unknown people with their own agendas.This was all caused by a war that the President started against the President Of Sweden, after not being invited to his Family Guy Sleepover, President Of Sweden’s reasoning for this was because of the President’s Family Guy allergy that occurs on Tuesdays, despite the sleepover not taking place on a Tuesday, he just didn’t want to risk it.
Jim and Hank meet a homeless superhuman lady named Riley who is looking for her little brother Rodrick, and they decide to team up in order to have a higher chance at surviving the looming threat of highly dangerous assassin Jonathan, who was sent by an anarchist group to kill anyone who's seen the president's search history, with his alcoholic friend Greg tagging along.
On it's premiere day of October 13th, 2023, the show immediately became a success, landing it a Season 2 already.It's general reception is that the art style, color grading, and music is very unique and overall just great, although it has been criticized sometimes for it's often sloppy, rushed animation. On Ysogood's community post advertising the series, it's described as "unhinged" which is the general opinion on the show.
