Spoilers Off applies to Wild Mass Guessing pages. As such beware of spoilers!

The identity of the remaining girls in the Battle Harem

Per Word of God, a total of eight girls will bond with Izuku, one per each vestige of One for All, and there is always a special component in that there's a symbolic link between the girl and the vestige. As of chapter 24, all eight bonds have been formed, with the girls being:
  • Ochako Uraraka, during the Entrance Exam, through Nana Shimura (Seventh), because both of their Quirks (Zero Gravity and Float) allow Not Quite Flight.
  • Mei Hatsume, during the second day at U.A., through Hikage Shinomori (Fourth), because both of them are social outcasts and their Quirks (Zoom and Danger Sense) boost their senses.
  • Momo Yaoyorozu, during the Heroes vs Villains Class, through Yoichi Shigaraki (First), because her Quirk (Creation) resonates with Yoichi's status as the creator of One for All, along with their sheltered upbringings.
  • Tsuyu Asui, during the USJ Incident, through Daigoro Banjo (Fifth), as both of their Quirks (Frog and Blackwhip) allow them to shoot something that allows them to restrain their target and pull them close.
  • Toru Hagakure, during her suit fitting, through En (Sixth), because both have a Quirk that allows them to hide from the enemy. Confirmed.
  • Melissa Shield, during their first meeting, through Toshinori Yagi (All Might, Eighth) because Melissa and Toshinori are (or were) Quirkless, very similar in personality and Melissa considers Toshinori her Honorary Uncle.
  • Nejire Hado through Isamu Mitsunami (Third), since both of their Quirks deal with energy in particular ways (Nejire fires it in spiral blasts, the Third accumulates energy in his limbs through repeated motions until he "uncorks" all of it in one go).
  • Ryouji Futatsuya (second) ends up going through two bonds. The first one went to Himiko Toga, apparently due to them both being unrepentant about their body counts, but Izuku broke the link within a minute of it forming after it revealed to him that she was a serial killer of dubious mental stability. He would later bond through Yui Kodai apparently because they're both The Quiet One, though Isamu suggests it's also because he can make his Laser Discs larger.

Other polycules

In the comments section for Chapter 7, the author says that the possibility of there being more than one polycule is open:
  • Fumikage and Yanagi might like Kuroiro and invite him to join them.
  • Mina, Kirishima, and Tetsutetsu might all also enter into a triad relationship.
    • This one is partially confirmed as Mina admits to being poly, but is willing to go exclusive to make her partner more comfortable.
    • Given Tetsutetsu's marked interest for Setsuna and the idea of polycules, the two of them might actually form one with Mina and Kirishima.
    • Confirmed! After their practical exam, Kirishima suggests Tetsutetsu to give the idea a chance, and he agrees. Now, it's just a matter of seeing what Mina thinks of it.
    • Confirmed, by the time of the Summer Camp not only has Mina agreed to the idea, Setsuna is also joining the relationship.

Bakugou's fate after his expulsion

Since he violated his probation and was thus expelled at the end of chapter 9, Bakugou's fate is up in the air. Any number of things could happen to him now.
  • He was merely expelled from the hero course. After all, Vlad said that "[Bakugou's] no longer [his] student". It's possible he was bumped down to Gen Ed, since the teachers don't want to risk Bakugo becoming either a vigilante at best, villain at worse, and expelling him from U.A. outright might push him in that direction.
  • As of Chapter 10, he's genuinely expelled from U.A. and is listed as a villain, but Nezu offers a chance of probation at Ketsubutsu, which he wants to accept but acknowledges he doesn't deserve. Nezu lets him have it anyway, as he considers Bakugo passed his Secret Test of Character.
  • He now has his own side story about his rehabilitation.

There may be more quirks in One for All than we know

It's been brought up that the Stockpile Quirk absorbed the Bond Quirk whilst inside of All for One, but we don't know how long Stockpile was inside his body before he gave it to Yoichi, so it is quite likely that Stockpile may have absorbed a few others, especially when Yoichi mentions that All for One didn't pay much attention to Stockpile beyond making sure it didn't absorb his Quirk.
  • Given that Izuku decided to register One for All as Decade Force (thinking it would act as a Red Herring to keep people guessing as to what he can do), it would be ironic if he actually got a total of ten Quirks.
    • Izuku already has eight Quirks, One for All and the subsequent ones from the other holders, and the Bond Quirk, which is already one more than canon so it is possible.
    • One of the author's comments in the chapter where Izuku finally learns how to wield Laser Disc and Fa Jin implies there are more Quirks to come.
    • Sorta yes, sorta no. Chapter 31 reveals there's two more stages to Bonding but there aren't any more actual Quirks inside One For All.
    • There weren't before All for One attempts to steal One for All from Izuku, now there are eleven new Quirks (among them are Search, All For One's sole remaining copy of Super Regeneration, and Overhaul) that have been added to the stockpile. No vestiges, though, so no new members for the harem.

The girls that Izuku bonds with through the Second and Third wielders will not bond with Izuku until after the Second and Third accept him.

  • The Watsonian explanation can be that their refusal to accept Izuku blocks the bonds from forming, while the Doylist explanation is that the Second's quirk is unknown and the author needs a delaying tactic until it is.
    • Confirmed during chapter 16 Izuku gets the approval of the 2nd and 3rd wielders before more girls join Izuku's Battle Harem.

Izuku's hero name will be...

Deku is not happening. It only happened in canon because Ochako gave a positive spin on it, but the different circumstances led to Ochako not wanting Izuku to hear it ever again. But now the story has to call him something else. It should also be something that's distinct from All Might, so nothing that involves "might" in it. So potential names could be:
  • Based on his green theme such as:
    • Emerald
    • Viridian (though, at least one other fic used this one and the author may want something else).
  • Based on his past as a victim of bigotry and bullying who has moved on such as:
    • Resilient
    • Freedom
  • Based on his Quirk such as:
    • Legion to represent that he has bonded with a small army of girls and the Vestiges.
  • A combination of the above such as:
    • Legacy, to represent he is the latest One for All torchbearer and that he used to be Quirkless.
    • Resilient Emerald
    • Green Force
  • As of Chapter 17, it appears that he will try to make a name that will contain the words "nine" or "kyu", to fit in with his being the Ninth Torchbearer.
  • Chapter 18 reveals he has chosen to become the Ultimate Hero: Kyuseishu.

Who the Traitor (if there will be one) could be

Given all the changes given to this story, the Traitor plot point may or may not be dropped in the fic. Reasons why include how the USJ incident doesn't strictly require a traitor, since Shigaraki is shown infiltrating himself. The author may drop the traitor angle altogether, but if not...
  • As of Chapter 35, it turns out that Aoyama's belt has been bugged to allow the League of Villains to track where the summer camp is taking place. Aoyama himself is unaware that he was diagnosed Quirkless, or that his "Quirk specialist" has something to do with his Navel Laser. In addition, as his parents are well off, he also has custom shoes made by a cobbler specifically for the extra joint (which, once again, he is unaware of), so unlike with Izuku his shoes are not that distinctive red color.

All for One will have an even harder time in trying to steal One for All

One of the reasons why All for One is using Shigaraki is because he wants the latter to develop such pathological hatred of heroes that he can overcome the Torchbearers' collective will and steal One for All. However, here One for All is also connected to eight extra people, meaning that it will take much more to even have a chance to achieve his objective.
  • Confirmed! When All for One tries to steal One for All, not only does he fail, he ends up losing thirty-four Quirks, with One for All absorbing eleven of them - including Search and Overhaul.

Someone in the cast is a direct descendant of the original holder of the bonding quirk.

Since it was revealed that the original holders of Bonding and Stockpile both survived losing their quirks to All for One, the possibility that someone in the main cast is descended from them is very much open.
  • Options
    • Izuku
    • La Brava, her quirk Love is remarkably similar to Bonding.
      • Confirmed in Chapter 55, where she mentions a Grandma Marubashi.

All For One is going to switch to just straight up wanting to Kill Izuku, not caring if he gets One For All anymore.

After having 23 Quirks destroyed and 11 outright *stolen* from him by Izuku, he starts considering One For All too much of a threat to keep around. He has resolved to make at least one last attempt to steal the quirk though, using the hatred he nurtured in Tomura to increase his chances. If that fails, too, One for All will die with its current user.

Ochako will unlock Level 4 during the Kamino Raid.

Confirmed - but it's not only Ochako, but all the girls at the same time,

All For One will abandon Shigaraki at Kamino.

After losing so many Quirks in his failed attempt to steal One for All and discovering that All Might has been healed completely from their last battle, All for One will decide that saving himself is more important than Shigaraki, especially if All Might decides that All for One is too dangerous to be kept alive.
  • Jossed. The Kamino Raid ends much like in canon, the change being that Tomura only has Dabi and Canopy to reform the League.

The Paranormal Liberation Front will not form

Due to the League of Villains being much less famous and successful, along with the fact that Re-Destro already has it out for Izuku will lead to the Meta Liberation Army not confronting Shigaraki as they are focused on other targets preventing the two groups from merging.
  • Seems even more likely since Chapter 46. Since Curious' attempt to slander Izuku got her on Ochako's bad side, Ochako decides to cash in a favor from Hisashi's team, which investigates white collar crimes for the Yaoyorozu Group, so they will take a good look at Shoowaysha Publications, the company where Curious works as executive director. This could lead to the exposure of the MLA and its subsequent shutdown before they can challenge the League and be overpowered by them (not that the League could do much damage with just three members left).
    • Not so likely after chapter 51, Ujiko is preparing the League to face off against Gigantomachia, and is implied that Nine will be joining them as well.
    • Less likely after Chapter 73. Tomura now has All for One's Quirk, is in full control of his body and has Machia and the High Ends at his disposal. Plus the MLA is pretty much a Decapitated Army, with most of its top brass defeated, leaving only a handful of soldiers left, who will most likely follow the strongest villain left, not to mention all the prison escapees that got away during the Uprising.
  • Confirmed in Chapter 74. Tomura officially dismantles the League after waking up and while the Tartarus breakout still happens, there is no group for the prisoners to rally behind.

Tensei will be healed with Overhaul

Eventually, either Tenya will request Izuku, or Izuku will offer, to heal Tensei's back, which should allow him to walk again and possibly return to heroism. This would be a blow against Stain.
  • Confirmed; it's the first thing Izuku does after getting his provisional license, and he only waited that long because the faculty wouldn't let him off the campus without one.

Shigaraki will still receive All for One, and complete with a villain version of Bonding.

There is a chance Garaki will not follow his canon counterpart route and just give the All for One Quirk to Shigaraki in order to keep his master's plans going and break him out of prison, without making him subdue Machia. And when this happens, he will probably have an evil version of Bonding, that empowers his allies with The Power of Hate. Thus, making the League the Ennead's true Arch-Enemy.

Nine and his crew will fill the League's ranks.

While there is a chance the original members of the League join the story, it seems more likely Nine and his crew will fill the gaps, especially if Garaki decides to give Tomura the All for One Quirk.
  • More likely after chapter 51. Garaki mentions that they need two pieces before moving on with their plan, Machia and something that needs to be transported, which could mean Nine.
  • Nine and his crew show up in chapter 61's stinger as they prepare to attack Nabu Island. It is possible they (or whoever manages to escape) will join the League to get some kind of revenge on the students.
    • Jossed. Nine still dies by the end of the arc, and his crew is defeated and arrested.

If Hisashi's investigation finishes before Curious can slander Izuku the public will not fall for it.

At worst it would seem like she's a vindictive asshole who is trying to ruin the son of the man who exposed her ties to a terrorist group.

Re-Destro knows that Charger was the one who took out Destro

He probably doesn't know Isamu's actual name or his connection to Izuku. If he does learn about OFA, killing Izuku will become personal to him as it will be avenging his ancestor, with the side bonus of killing a throwback with a Quirk he didn't deserve.
  • Jossed. Re-Destro only found who Charger was after La Brava released the HSPC archives footage.

Gentle, La Brava and Compress will expose the MLA's slander campaign, as well as the HSPC's corruption.

Given La Brava's top notch hacking skills, she might be the one to find out about Yubi's connection to the MLA, and since their team is already established on exposing the corruption behind the current status quo, they might as well take a shot against the Commission.
  • As of chapter 65, La Brava managed to hack into the HSPC files and the team knows the entire truth about the organization's dirty business, from how they bought Hawks from his mother to Nagant's assassinations of Commission targets.
    • Confirmed. The HSPC dirty laundry is exposed by the vigilantes in chapter 68.

Melissa's idea for making a Super Sentai robot will return eventually

When discussing the possibility of making a Super Sentai robot, Melissa suggested it would be far more efficient to just create power armor and let Yui enlarge it. While it may seem overkill now, the villains still have Gigantomachia, and right now the only heroine capable of halting him is Mt. Lady. Yui having a Super Sentai robot and teaming up with her mentor to fight the giant villain would be a big event for the Tokusatsu fangirl.
  • Confirmed in Chapter 77, where Yui tag-tems Gigantomachia with Mt. Lady in order to stop his rampage.

Nine will attempt to steal One for All and suffer the same problem All for One had.

During Chapter 61's stinger, Nine's internal monologue mentions he has several "free slots" available, and Izuku's Quirk is the strongest Quirk among all of the students. Given the villain's greed, he's likely to try - and get it even worse than what Mugen Shigaraki went through.
  • Confirmed, but not the way expected. Nine fails to steal One for All, only for Monoma to jump in and permanantly copy his Quirks.

All for One's attempt to take over Tomura's body will backfire spectacularly.

The Doctor seems to be pretty convinced that his master's attempt to steal Tomura's body will be successful, given the boy's former Quirkless status will help the assimilation between their minds. However, this wouldn't be the first time one of their plans goes horribly wrong, and the likely outcome would be Tomura with all of his master's Quirks, but with his conscience subdued.
  • Confirmed! In Chapter 73, the procedure is nearly complete, but Tomura already knew about Mugen's plan, so he just kills his conscienceness and takes over All for One and all the Quirks left inside of it.

Members of Neito's polycule.

Upon gaining a copy of Bonding in chapter 64, Neito has bonded with Aoyama trough Bullet Laser. Other possible members could be
  • Hitoshi: Trough either Erasure or Scanning, since both Quirks are sense-based.
    • Confirmed. Hitoshi bonded through Erasure.
  • Akira: Same case, but with Cell Activation, since Pep Talk has healing properties.
    • Confirmed. Akira bonded through Cell Activation.
  • Camie: Through Hologram. It is a long shot, but there are not many illusion based Quirks. Plus this would lead to some hillarious interactions.
  • Kosei: Through Air Wall, since Solid Air is barrier-based.
    • Confirmed, but the bond broke because Kosei is not into guys.
  • Saiko. Maybe not through a Quirk, more personality wise.

Hawks will join the Tea Spillers.

Since the vigilantes found out about how he is pretty much a slave to the Commission, and both Gentle and Twice seek to free him from their clutches, Hawks might accept their offer and join the crew, finding in them the family he never had.

Lady Nagant will be set free after the HSPC is exposed.

There is a good chance that as once the Commission's dirty laundry is aired by the Tea Spillers and the truth about how she was framed comes up, Nezu or Izuku, will make an offer for the former hero to redeem herself and join the U.A.
  • Jossed. The Tartarus breakout happens anyway, so she probably just escaped in the chaos.

There will be a major Hero team-up during the war.

A missed opportunity from canon, at least until the last couple of arcs. Given how society is facing a major threat in the form of the Meta Liberation Army, not mention Shigaraki who is still out there with Machia, the High Ends and the original All for One Quirk in his hands, this could lead to the creation of a Hero Alliance, uniting heroes and students from every school in Japan (and maybe beyond it, in the form of Star and Stripe and the Santo Kaliman students) with the goal of standing against the rising of villains.

If said Alliance is formed, most of its high ranking members will be let into the One for All secret.

In order to avoid a Poor Communication Kills scenario, and give its members a proper idea of what is at stake, its possible that Top 10 Heroes like Endeavor and Hawks will learn the truth about One for All, like in canon. Unlike in canon, other heroes, mainly the ones mentoring Ennead members like Mirko and Ryukyu will learn the truth as well.

Old and Golden was stolen from Dr. Garaki's son.

Garaki's Quirk extends his lifespan, and relatives' Quirks typically resembling each other is canon. A Quirk that makes someone Stronger with Age can reasonably be derived from Life Force, and if it's technically a second-generation Quirk that means the drawbacks can be expected to be more severe, befitting how Old and Golden reduces mental acuity with age (to the point of reducing a Mad Scientist to a mindless drone) as a side-effect.
